Die neue WordPress-Version 2.5 ist da, schreibt Frank Helmschrott. Auf wordpress.org kann man sie schon herunterladen - was ich auch gleich tun werde. Hochladen werde ich WordPress allerdings erst einmal nur auf eine Test-Installation, denn ich erinnere mich noch zu gut an das Chaos, das das Upgrade auf WP 2.3 mit sich gebracht hat...

Was sich bei der neuen Version getan hat? Wenn man im WordPress-Blog liest, findet man das hier:

multi-file uploading, one-click plugin upgrades, built-in galleries, customizable dashboard, salted passwords and cookie encryption, media library, a WYSIWYG that doesn’t mess with your code, concurrent post editing protection, full-screen writing, and search that covers posts and pages.

Und das klingt doch alles sehr sinnvoll und nützlich.
