I'm just thinking about changing this blog (or at least parts of it) to English. Currently I'm so into the language, I often catch myself thinking in English or even start talking in English. So it was obviously a good thing to read English books again - even though it's just books about women and their problems. Couldn't read any German books like this but Marian Keyes is quite good at writing women's novels. She's not just writing about love stories with happy endings: In her books there are more important aspects like friendship, problems with parents getting older, marriages splitting up or any kinds of midlife-crisis. Even if there's a love story, it's never as obvious as in many women's novels. No "Romeo and Juliet" and always quite surprising...
